Camus quote from High Line’s Facebook page. The High Line is a park built on old railroad tracks in Manhattan. My brother first learned of this park in National Geographic. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to see it when I was in NYC.

Anyway, the winter sometimes brings melancholy due to the lack of sunlight in some areas, especially the East Coast. Snow is beautiful but it can definitely have its challenges to those who get depressed due to being deprived of vitamin D. The effects on serotonin are probably correlated with lack of sunlight.
